These are a hugely popular shoe for Renaissance, period reenactments, and as well as casual wear. These shoes mimic the comfort of a moccasin with a solid oiled leather latigo sole. Then we apply a water resistent resilene coating for extra water resistance and luster. Oiled latigo is durable and maintains its luster when taken care of for many years. Every pair is custom made from a casting of your two feet to insure the best fit. Once your cast is made and sent to DCS the shoes are made creating a custom pattern to your foot. This is what makes these as well as all footwear made by DCS such a delight to wear. The shoes are customized to your feet and no matter the size they will be comfortable within a few hours of wearing the shoes. They are made from Bullhide with a decortive lacing that circumfrences the ankle and latch of the shoe.
